Photo gallery walls have always overwhelmed me. There.. I said it.
Call it overthinking, or lack of commitment.. but they have always felt so daunting to create! Which is why the main wall in our living room was blank for over a year. Also, they can be pretty pricey. After spending way more than we thought on curtains and door mats alone, we needed to keep this project budget friendly.
With having such young kids (and knowing we aren’t done growing our family) I knew I wanted to go with frames instead of printed canvases. Not to mention it’s generally cheaper!
Getting family photos done finally lit the fire under me to get the gallery wall up. I will say, I struggled hardcore with knowing which layout to choose but once I saw these frames at Target I knew this was it. They are a light oak look & beautiful for any style.
Now that we finally have it up, I’m obsessed! It adds so much life to our space. This gallery wall look was only $100 (not including the photo session of course!) and fits perfectly with our decor!
Picture Frames
I had a hard time finding frames that matched our color wood until I found these at Target! These frames are the perfect light, antique oak. I got these when they were on sale for 15% off, but even if they aren’t on sale they are totally worth it.
I got two 16″ x 20″, two 14″ x 18″ and two 8″ x 10″ frames.
Prints
I LOVE White House Custom Color for photo prints. I’ve used their services since I was a wedding photographer and the quality is always incredible and consistent. Not to mention their customer service team is so helpful!
